I am an independent advisor helping educators, professionals and small business owners navigate the ever-changing financial landscape that that life brings all of us.
Beginning my career at TIAA (Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association), I helped educators visualize their financial future and build strategies to help bring those visions to reality. I’m passionate about helping individuals get clarity on their current situation and create a clear and measurable plan to help them achieve their future goals.
I’m an excellent listener and, through my experience, know what questions to ask to uncover the financial foundation upon which to help build a strong future. Having a keen understanding of the financial challenges facing educators, corporate employees and small business owners gives me the insight to provide clarity for my clients. I moved to the independent channel in 2018 to expand and maximize the solutions I could offer my clients.
Although I spent my childhood in Charlotte, NC, my family has a long legacy in the Toledo area. So much so, that I consider myself a Toledo native. After a successful high school sports career, with two individual state championships, I continued on to play football at Tiffin and later Taylor university where I earned a degree in Business Administration.
In 2023, I joined Thornwood Financial as the Lead Regional Advisor heading up the launch of the Northwestern Ohio branch. Thornwood Financial has offices in Chicago, Wisconsin and now Ohio.
